Ministries

Midway UMC’s doors are open to everyone. Whether you are new to the Douglasville area, are looking to take your first steps toward a relationship with Jesus or desire to make a change, Midway UMC is a place to call home. We look forward to seeing you in our worship services or in one of our small groups.

Music Ministry

Join the choir and help "drown out" those of us who can't sing. The choir provides music for Christmas and Easter. For more info contact Tere Ayers at TereSing@gmail.com

Women

Midway United Methodist Church seeks to equip women to lead and teach. They are a integral part of the church and their gifts and graces need to be cultivated so that they can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. The Ruth Circle meets monthly to pray, study, support each other, share a meal together and plan and implement various activities during the year.

The United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to develop a creative, supportive fellowship to extend concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.  Check the calendar menu link above for meeting details.

Men

Midway United Methodist Church challenges its men to come together to remember their Biblical responsibility to serve as spiritual leaders in our home, church and business. The men meet monthly to pray, support each other, and plan and implement activities during the year.

Sunday School Classes

Sunday School Classes are about more than Christian education. They provide a place where relationships can develop and grow. They are fellowship groups where nurture and care can be given and received. Sunday School classes are one of the key places where mission and ministry come alive in the church. Feel free to ask a church greeter for more information on Sunday School classes. For more information contact Randy Morris at RandyMorris@aol.com.
